About

Pathogens have been a cause of many diseases worldwide. The Advanced Sensing Lab develops advanced sensors for sensitive and reliable detection of pathogens. Based on field programmable gate array, open microfluidic devices have been manufactured for nucleic acid amplification tests of pathogens. Because of the small size of open microfluidic devices, portable instruments will be developed for in situ tests, which would help us prevent spread of pathogens.
