Digital Futures Labs are what we consider to be pilot ventures or ‘research adventures. A DF Lab is a DF Lab because the idea behind it is exciting, cool, and really interesting. While the undertaking of a DF Lab involves a certain amount of uncertainty, we define DF Labs as high-risk, high-reward investments which require at least 3-5 years to determine success.
