The Social Innovation Collaborative brings together scholars, policymakers, practitioners, and lived-experience experts to tackle complex social challenges—such as economic inequality, housing insecurity, education disparities, and environmental risks—through research-practice partnerships and social innovation methods. By engaging deeply with communities, the lab co-develops and tests solutions that are locally grounded yet scalable, with a particular focus on the Cincinnati metropolitan region. Social innovation, an iterative process of learning, testing, and scaling, drives the lab’s approach, ensuring that solutions move beyond initial pilots to become embedded in public and private systems, fostering lasting, systemic change.
