About

The Smart Manufacturing Lab specializes in Industry 4.0 solutions for smart manufacturing digitalization. This includes intelligent product design, predictive modeling and simulation of processes and factory operations (digital twin), and smart analysis of factory data through computer vision, IIoT, and AR/VR/MR methods. The lab also integrates factory digital data with supply chains to enable agile and cost-effective manufacturing. Prof. Anand has secured over $15 million in funded grants and contracts from various industries and federal, city, and state agencies to support research in these areas.
