About

The Applied Autonomy (AA) Lab focuses on drone technology and its diverse industry applications. Collaborating with partners in emergency management, transportation, aerospace engineering, and more, the AA Lab is expanding into the HighBay, a state-of-the-art facility for testing new drone technology. The lab works closely with first responders and emergency management organizations, including the Fire Science & Emergency Management department, to provide cutting-edge technology and training. Additionally, the AA Lab is engaged in a long-term project with several other Digital Futures labs and the Department of Transportation, exploring automated driving systems.
